How does the global network relate to Impact Hub Dhaka?
By being a member of Impact Hub Dhaka, you are a member of all Impact Hubs around the world and can access them when visiting other cities. Impact Hub is a global community of people from every profession, background and culture working at “new frontiers” to tackle the world’s most pressing social, cultural and environmental challenges.
As a member of Impact Hub Dhaka, you receive an Impact Hub Passport which generally allows 3 free coworking days at any Impact Hub and then coworking discounts after that.

Will Impact Hub Dhaka be a productive environment?

How do I know that there will be a workspace for me when I come to Impact Hub Dhaka?
Only the meetings rooms and the main community space can be reserved at Impact Hub Dhaka. There is a finite amount of Memberships available and the Impact Hub Dhaka team is able to manage the flow of member hours and usage to guarantee that work and meeting space will be available.

When you are coming to the HUB for your first time:
Where is Impact Hub Dhaka located?
We are location on the 9th floor of Grameen Telecom Bhaban, Zoo Road, Mirpur 1. If you would like to visit please contact us beforehand.
Are there any car parking facilities?
Unfortunately, we don’t have any parking facilities here but you can usually find a spot nearby.

What hours can I work at Impact Hub Dhaka?
- Business Days: Sunday to Thursday, excluding public holidays and occasional closure days advertised at least 30 days in advance.
- Weekly Closed Day: Friday and Saturday
Business Hours: 10am to 6pm
How do my hours work?
You will be entitled to use the Premises for the hours per month specified in Your Membership Package during regular business hours on business days subject to space availability of our Workspace. The monthly hours allocated to You in the Membership Package expire at the end of the month and cannot be added to the following month or subsequent months.
How can I access the internet?
As a member you have access to Impact Hub Dhaka Wifi. The password will be shared upon arrival.
How does printing work?
Printing, scanning and copying services are available. Contact the Host if you require technical assistance or would like to support setting up or managing your account.
Can I borrow a stapler/pens/markers/scissors?
Yes! you will find stationary supplies placed at convenient places for you to borrow.
How flexible is my Impact Hub Membership?
We understand the needs of our members for a flexible membership and so we made it easy for you to adjust your membership level based on how much you will actually use the space every month. Just speak to a host and they will direct you to a membership change form. In order for Your Membership Package to be downgraded or cancelled in the current month, you will need to notify IHD before the 7th day of the month, otherwise Your Membership will only be downgraded or terminated on the last day of the following month.
However, Members who have rented office space are not permitted to terminate Membership for the first three calendar months of their Membership unless IHD notifies You of any price change under the terms mentions in Membership Agreement.
How do I cancel my Membership?
If You wish to downgrade or terminate Your Membership Package, You agree to give one calendar months’ notice and agree that You are not permitted to terminate Your Membership for the first three calendar months of Your Membership unless IHD notifies You of any price change under the terms mentioned in the Membership Agreement. In order for Your Membership Package to be downgraded or cancelled in the current month, you will need to notify IHD before the 7th day of the month, otherwise Your Membership will only be downgraded or terminated on the last day of the following month.
Do I get access to other Impact Hubs?
Yes! You have access to the Global Impact Hub Passport!
If you’re a member of Impact Hub Dhaka community, you can visit each Impact Hub 3 days a year, every year. So, if you wanted to stop by Impact Hub Jakarta for three days, then jump over to Impact Hub Mexico City for three days, and then to Impact Hub Tokyo for three days, you can. All you have to do is use the form (https://passport.impacthub.net/) to notify the Impact Hub you would like to visit.
What if I want to host guests or have meetings with non-members?
You are welcome to bring guests into the open area and Lab Cafe. You are given a two-hour guest allowance per day without additional charge which may be allocated between one or more guests proportionately. This means that You can have one guest for two hours or two guests for one hour. If Your guest or guests wish to work for more than two hours, then You agree to pay for a day pass per guest subject to the terms set out in Your Membership Package.
Do I have to book a meeting room?
Yes, you have to book the meeting room – even if it’s empty or if it’s ‘just for a minute.’ This is to ensure that you don’t interrupt other meetings, and helps ensure that your meetings don’t get disrupted, either.
How can I book a meeting room?
Both members and non-members will be able to book meetings room. The dedicated meeting rooms, bookable in advance and subject to availability and in accordance with the booking terms set out in the Membership Package. Meeting rooms can be booked from our website in the “Event Space” section. All members can avail 20% discount on all bookings. To avail your membership discount please login to your portal first.
For bookings: All meeting rooms and event spaces need to be booked via the online booking portal. You will receive an email with your provisional booking details to confirm the booking space. For booking confirmation, Impact Hub Dhaka requires 100% advance payment of the room hire as a deposit of which 50% is non-refundable.
Notification of cancellation should be made in writing (email deemed to be as in writing) and will be effective on the date and time received by IHD.
In the event that a confirmed booking is cancelled, the following charges will be applied:
- 50% refund if a written notice is sent 24 hours prior to the start of event start time.
- No refund will be entertained for any cancellation requested below 24 hours of the event start time.
How can the community take advantage of the Hub’s offerings?
Become a member of the coworking space, attend a free event, book a meeting, or rent a private office. Becoming a member of the Hub gives you access to a vast network of diverse professionals. It’s a perfect way to get to know your work neighbours and interact on a different level.
Can I get a Day pass?
Day passes are best for when you need a place to work for a day and where you can get the perfect workspace within minutes. No commitment, no surprise – our day pass will allow you to work or have meetings until the end of business hours. With all the services and convenience. You can get the day pass without any forms, purchase orders or paperwork. Stop by the front desk, let us now you came to work, pay, and that’s it. You can get to work. If you like it here, we will refund the Day Pass fee and you will only pay for your new membership. We have a wide variety of packages and you will decide whether you need unlimited access or just a few hours a week. And let’s not forget that every package comes with additional benefits.
When you are planning to have an Event:
How do I book an Event?
If you are already a member, book the meeting room via the portal. The amount will be applied to your invoice. If you are not yet a member, please book online through our website and let us know what day/time you’d like and which room you’d like to request. A security deposit and signed event agreement are due immediately to reserve space and total service fee due on the say of signing.
When can I set-up for my event?
Your start time is firm, and you may not access the space ahead of your booking. If you think you’ll need more time for setup, please let us know or update your reservation.
How far in advance can I book my event?
The earlier the better! We need to have a signed agreement and full payment is required three days before the event or it is subject to cancellation.
How do I clean up after my event?
We are a self-hosted event space, which means you are responsible for all cleanup from your event (including dishes, utensils, rubbish, tables, and floors). Please check with our host to find all the supplies you might need for your clean up.
