Impact Management: Communicating your SDG Impact

Impact Hub Dhaka and Youth Co:Lab Bangladesh have partnered up to bring you a series of creative workshops.

Youth Co:Lab is the largest youth social entrepreneurship movement in Asia and the Pacific, co-created by UNDP and Citi Foundation. Impact Hub is one of the world’s largest networks focused on building entrepreneurial communities for impact at scale.

The 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) call on businesses large and small to measure their impact on people and the planet. Impact Management is the ongoing practice of measuring impacts so as to reduce the negative and increase the positive. This session will introduce you to the practices of impact management and its framework to enable you to make better data-driven decisions, manage risks, and scale impact and communicate it, and thereby access funding and partnerships. Participants will be able to build on the Case for Support module to further develop their startup’s impact management framework and learn how to produce an SDG Impact report to identity the goals, targets and indicators to strengthen their theory of change, enhance their impact and attract support.

Strong impact management relies on a sound strategy with a clear theory of change for the impact you are trying to achieve; and appropriate systems, tools, processes and people. Our Facilitator will discuss about strategic planning techniques that help startups and businesses to communicate assumptions, and teams to align their activities with overall business objectives to improve delivery decisions. This workshop will help entrepreneurs to build products and deliver projects that make an impact, plan effectively and react to change.
